1. Introduction
Lexdle (“the App”) is developed and operated by Onix Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Ukraine. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Automatically Collected Data
We use Google Firebase services to collect anonymized device and usage information for analytics and crash diagnostics, such as device model, OS version, app usage events, crash traces, and device identifiers (such as Advertising ID where available). We do not use this information for personalized ads.
2.2 Local Game Data
The App stores your gameplay statistics locally on your device (using Android DataStore or a similar mechanism). This data includes, for example, your current streak, number of games played, and related preferences.
2.3 Backend Requests
The App performs a read-only request to our backend (FastAPI) to fetch the daily word. No personal identifiers are transmitted with this request.
3. How We Use Information
- Analyze app usage and improve features and performance
- Diagnose crashes and ensure reliability
- Operate core functionality (e.g., fetch the daily word)
4. Data Storage & Security
- Local data: Gameplay stats remain on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App or resetting app data.
- Analytics & crashes: Processed by Google Firebase. Data may be stored on servers outside your country.
- Backend: Our FastAPI services are hosted in Ukraine.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App:
- Firebase Analytics (Google)
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

6. Your Rights & Choices
- Request access or deletion of any personal data we hold (if applicable in future versions).
- Disable analytics in your device settings where supported or contact us to request opt-out instructions.
- Clear local gameplay data by resetting the App or uninstalling it.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Gameplay statistics remain local to the device, and no personal identifiers are collected or shared.
The App does not include advertising. Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) for analytics purposes only. We comply with applicable child data protection laws, including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
Firebase may process analytics and crash data on servers located outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest changes. Significant updates may be communicated in the App.

- Client frameworks/libraries: Kotlin Multiplatform, Ktor (networking), Koin (DI).
- Crash & analytics: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
- Local storage: Android DataStore (statistics and preferences only).
- Backend: FastAPI (read-only daily word endpoint).
- No ads, cookies, or tracking pixels in the current version.
